Hot bar fix

The hot bar either needs to be fixed or someone please tell me if there is a way to lock the hot bars? I noticed several times that my skills would get dragged and dropped off hot bar during fights , I did not find any options that would allow me to lock the bar so this did not happen. I also noticed that a few times my 2nd skill in a chain would take the place of the start skill. I had to keep going to to skill page and bring back the original skill. Both of these things are easy fix's. I am hoping this will be resolved , or that someone can tell me if there is already an option to lock hot bars that i did not notice. Thank you

Actually this is a good question since even in China Aion which is still 1.0 you are able to lock action bars. Something to do with the ENU.pak that the beta is using maybe? If you use straight China client, you can lock bars, use the ENU.pak that is floating around and you can also lock bars. BUT if you use the ENU.pak from the beta on China client, you lose ability to lock bars like in NA beta :/

I may be a noob but i have no idea how to NOT click. I mean i can use the hot bars a little but then i can only move by the mouse and as an assassin that's not very feasible.

Someone teach me how to hot bar!

That's not really the point though. You can easily accidentally drag one of your skills off the bar if say you were click targetting (big *** fight where you can't depend on tab targetting) for example. Not to mention there are some non-essential skills/macros/items/emotes that don't necessarily require a keybind of its own.

ive had chain skills screw me up and disappear bcuz i accidently moved it w/o noticing. lol

it's a given to lock action bars....they pretty much have alot of minor details to lock up atm...dunno why they arent doing it yet.

I've had this happen too. I keybind skills used constantly but buffs etc. I click for. Saves on binds. Hopefully this is something fixed when the game goes live.

I've done that too, it's a bit irritating. I've had to be a lot more careful with my clicks because of it!

From what I understand we are playing version 1.0 of Aion for the NA beta. The game is going to launch with version 1.5. This is one of the things that was changed, thus the reason we don't have it but the live game does. Mainly all the beta is for is to make sure the localization is correct for NA players.

I always end up mixing up my Y bar, a lock on Y bar would be very nice and would have assumed something not needed to ask for!

They disabled the hot key lock in the beta for some reason it will be back later dont worry about it.
