- Pretty much the story of my life, cant get out of a fight without some rubberbanding, and raiding is rough I always rubberband to the back of the pack, Skills are hard to work since they rarely go off when I hit the button, have to spam my keyboard and hope it works

Hopefully you actually read this, and more importantly do something about it.

I have two characters on Siel on both Elyos and Asmodian and have tested the beta on EU servers aswell, with myself living in the EU. The level of lag is exactly the same on both.

* How bad do you consider your latency to be?

At best - very annoying, at worse - titanic.

* How does the lag manifest itself? (Rubberbanding?)

Absolutely constant:
Rubberbanding, game locking up, players in PVP suddenly appearing right beside me when they wern't even on screen before (not using hide), npcs going non responsive, long delays when skills activate.

Regular: Total loss of connection, forcing me to restart. (why must you have to restart again?)

Umm odd question... I last was in game about five minutes ago. I lost connection.

Both NA and EU, with same results on both, when server capacity is at low and high.

I am primarily playing on Siel, but experience it on all the ones I have tested.

Upto 10Mbit/s, have been experiencing lag even while actually getting 9Mbit/s

Windows Vista 32 bit, McAffe, pile of trash.





Edit: After restarting the game I got completly disconnected within three minutes. In one word the lag situation is: Unplayable.

To be perfectly honest if this lag hasn't got SIGNIFICANTLY better by the end of open beta I will just cancel my pre order and not play Aion at all. While playing the beta I can see Aion has the potential to be a great game, but honestly with this lag it is more stressful than fun.

Answering for a friend thats in beta, but doesn't have an Aionsource account.

Not that bad tbh, can play the game, but will most likely have a few problems in the Abyss, also, it tends to come and go, sometimes he can play for a fairly long time and get just minor rubberbanding, other times it will take upwards of 3 seconds for skills to fire.

Rubberbanding mainly, although when it gets really bad, NPCs will take a few seconds to talk to him, and skills won't fire for a few seconds. Also, when it gets really bad, NPCs tend to warp around.

Uh, don't know what this means, if when he was last logged in, 6 AM CST July 19th.

* Latency in other games is non-existent. Latency is AION is, well... Sometimes I click something and teleport back and for 3-4 times before getting there.

playing a glad it is unbearable in pvp.... it is already extremely hard for me to keep up with
ranged classes.... but with the lag it is nearly impossible, with them bouncing around casting
spells. (especially hard in the air.)

asmodian and all of a sudden non of my skills seem to be working
then all of a sudden they are a good 30 to 40 yards away casting on me...

Aswell as bad response of the game to about 1/4 of my clicks during combat(having to click twice to get a response), Ruberbanding happens about once every 2 minuets, for a series of meters. Thats very annoying.
