Quick Facts

-Although giraffes have the longest necks in the world they still have only seven vertebra, the same amount as in humans.

-Baby giraffes are born six feet tall and can grow up to an inch a day.

-A giraffe can have anywhere from 2-5 horns, which are covered with skin.

-Giraffes have tough tougues! They are blue-black in color and can be as long as 18 inches.

- Giraffes have no tear ducts but have been seen crying.
