Article: NCsoft's ability to develope and operate quests
Posted 04-11-2008 at 03:29 PM by Janis
NC Soft is a veteran developer and distributors.
Already in the past 10 years, starting with Lineage, game development and distribution so far has been quite diverse.
Recent developments show that thier operating experience is diverse.
Good ability to significantly speed and excellent handling of problems.
Issues raised.
--------------------------------------------------------------

The party system has failed to attract users
Most quests do not benefit from partying
Though the harder quests do benefit from partying and these quests have a problem of not enough people to party with.

The story of the game is told through meaningful quests and is the most direct pathway to notify users. Aion has done the best out of any game when it comes to this, wow! Though starting with the level 20 quests you have to start traveling to the edges of the maps.

Though sometimes the goal of the quest can be not entirely understood and inventory space can be an issue.

The developers appear to be arrogant and not always take the players perspective into account.

So the party benefits aren't that good. I had wondered about this.
Also, the bag space seems to be an issue in every video. When someone picks something up they often have to throw something else out to make it fit. I've seen that several times in the BETA2 vids that people have posted.
Thanks for the information and the screens!!Posted 04-11-2008 at 05:03 PM by TheSaintACE
