Slowly chugging along, hit 38 today. I am still a fairly happy dwarf.

I was playing superheros with my 5 year old son and 6 year old daughter the other day. Its a pretend play game where we run around in the yard, beating up bad guys and earning new powers. They love to hear ding, new power!

So my son chooses fireball power for his first level up. Nice call, he starts blasting away at the swingset. pew pew pew. My daughter says, "My superpower is I am a teenage girl wearing a bikini in the middle of the pool surrounded by boys."
...

So much greatness is momentary,
Fleeting. Like the picture you wanted to take
But did not.
Sometimes you get a piece of it down.
Others you ride it out and
Enjoy the moment.
So often beauty is like a spark from the fire.
It mystifies as it floats to the stars
But it will fade and
Become inconsequential
In the breeze.

I would love to live here forever,
In the fire,
Before the embers
Die down....

I love armorsmithing. My dwarf gets to hold a hammer over a hot flame and work his craft. Working with metal makes my dwarf happy. He does not however like to collect fish in order to get the skill to mine titanium....

One of the things I like about crafting is the unique recipes that require exotic mats. I enjoy hunting for mats, it gives grinding a purpose.

I love this game. I would post more, but I am playing till my fingers bleed. Then I am duct taping them up, and playing some more.
