Insert New Blog Title

I have not posted a while since going on a hiatus from the forum community. Since returning I have seen many new users coming on to this site, while I am not a regular poster here, it is nice to see such activity sometimes.

After reading through the usual threads and other effects not related to Aion at all, it made me wonder what was one of the reasons I choose not to post so much: boredom, it one of the causes that happen when a person stays or does something all too often. So taking a break from it all was a nice idea.

Moving on, I have decided to switch to the Elyos faction now due to the amount new users saying that Asmodians is the way to the get go now, Originally when the "dark" side was lower numbers I would side with the underdogs due to population balance and also more people at once. Now, it seems nowadays that being "dark" and bad brings the other side of people. I used to think that reading up on the lore and the history of one's race would persuade me to become that faction as I will have sympathy for who I was to be. That is no longer the case as I can not side with one who will have more numbers to attack the other group and regardless of the Elyos being high above all aspect, the lore will no longer matter if a horde can easily overcome others.

In conclusion, I feel I made a right choice in becoming the side who will have less numbers and I can not wait to experience the less gloomy, more brighter side of the world. I am guessing some changes that happened in my real life has reflected upon my decision in an online world and I am glad because I can change. Ironically, when first siding with the Asmodians in the first place, my avatar was that of a person with white wings over dark ones.
