First impression

So I managed to get into the Chinese OB... like who didn't? I'm already in my second day of playing and reached Lvl. 15.
This ends my little "review" of the experience I had 'till now. I'll write soon and go deeper into some subjects.
Happy gaming!
- From the start I have to say that the graphics of the game are the best. I play at the highest settings and the environment and everything in between look awesome.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - The UI is intuitive and doesn't break off too much from the common MMO UIs. All the slots can be key-remapped so you don't have to be stuck with the defaults 1,2,3,4... Alt+1, Alt+2..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - The gameplay isn't so diversified on the lower levels (that are so time consuming... at least from Lv.12-13); you just have to choose between grinding (Yuks!), questing and occasional gathering-crafting. But the environment, mobs and skill effects really cast away the boredom of questing. And it's a questfest guys (and girls). So get some Mountain Dews and your neighbors and start playing. Soloing sucks.
Too bad there aren't any mounts, you have to walk a lot.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - The mob/class ration is pretty good: while a melee type class can handle fairly easy 2-3 mobs, the robe ones must use disabling skills to kill them 1 at a time. They take heavy damage but deal HUGE damage.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Obelisks are expensive to bind to, especially when you move very quick from a region to another. Just avoid dying

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - I didn't fully understand how crafting works for now.. I just get some chores from my Profession master and I have to turn them in to receive as a reward other materials. So if this is the only easy way to get materials... hell.. it's boring man. (I'm Tailoring BTW)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - The gold drop is good and the misc items sell very well. As for equipment, Auction house rules. You can find fairly cheap the best armor for your class (greenies for Lv. 15 and 16). Any piece of armor/weapon you get and don't need.. register it in the Auction house. With a medium market price you will sell it in under 30 mins.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - And the last but certainly not least, skills. One word: awesome. Easy to learn new skills (by buying books), they auto upgrade with every level and look superb.
This ends my little "review" of the experience I had 'till now. I'll write soon and go deeper into some subjects.
Happy gaming!
