Economical crisis essay - Help

In order to obtain my certificate in the English language, I received the task the make a 20 pages essay about the current economical crisis - from how it started until nowadays.

I studied all the sources I could find but didn't quite make up my mind in how to conceive and put together this essay. I also have to present it in front of an academic committee so a good speech to fit the essay is imperative.
Could you kind people give me some ideas in what information should I put in and how to structure it so it wouldn't really become a boring economics class?

In my presentation I want to rely on the short movie called

YouTube - The Crisis of Credit Visualized - Part 1

so I can present it in a very easy and understandable way.

Help me out a little guys, I really need your help on this one. Anything will do basically: links, ideas, finding a proper chapter and content structure...
