A Dreadful Night.

The sky was clear. The stars were brighter than they were on any other night. Senryth laid down on the cool grass looking up at the beautiful sight that was before him. "I wish she was here with me." He said out loud hoping to get a response. He closed his eyes and thought about her.

"Senryth...?" she said smiling at her beloved husband. yes? he replied back. "I want you to reach... Reach for the stars." she asked him. A puzzeled look now formed on his face. "Why? I cannot pull them down for you to touch. Why reach?" She grinned. "I want you to reach for the stars, so if you fall you land on a cloud." SHe kissed him on the cheek and they both fell asleep under the moonlight

He opened up his eyes and reached up slowly to grab a star. a single tear creeped down the side of his face into the cold grass. He sighed deeply and walked back into the bar. He looked around at all the asmodians, enjoying themselves. Some laughing so hard that they cried, Others arguing so loud that a fight broke out.. Senryth took out a piece of paper, the only lead he had on the assassian that kiddnaped his wife.

He soon spotted a old man sitting by himself so he walked over and sat across from him. "Hello..." Senryth said almost in an confused mannor. The old man smiled and reached his hand out. Senryth put his hand in the old man's and they both squeezed friendly. "I am Opii... And from what I feel... You are very troubled... Speak to me son... Your questions will be answered." Senryth suddenly felt the warmth that the wise man was giving off. "Well.. my wife.. she was taken from me by an Elyos assassian, And he is know where to be found."

Opii smiled greatly and inhaled deeply. "Ah Ha! a tale of love and revenge eh? there is only one being in this world that can find the one you seek...." Senryth blocked out all the surrounding noise. "The Great Khan.. It has the power to find any living being in an instant. But you must have something to trade the great beast." Where do I find him? Senryth asked. Opii inhaled again. "He dwells in the center of the land of Sorrow. But do not fret young warrior, your journy will not be taken alone." Senryth thanked the helpfull old man and quickly man his way for the door. "We will meet again Senryth." the old man smiled in a different way than that of the other ones.

Senryth did not notice what the man was saying. All that was on his mind was finding the great khan.

He opened the door, It was raining heavy. He began to walk along the road. Her words played back in his mind.

"Reach Senryth.... Reach."
