So I've been playing in the Warhammer closed beta for a little bit now and I have to admit, it doesn't suck. Granted, it's not gonna be a 'main' game for me, but for now, I do enjoy it (my roommate too, tho he's addicted). I still have issues with the cuts they made and it's confirmed why it was really done; to be Lich King out of the gate. Still, of all the silly reasons to cut massive amounts of content (4 classes and 4 Capital cities - Two of which being tanks, like MMOs have an overabundance of them), that's pretty damned bad. What exactly do devs think they'll get out of releasing an incomplete game just to beat another one out of the gate? Oh right, a bunch of cancelled pre-orders and ****ed off fans....

Anywho, I can't really go into any detail about the game due to the NDA, but that should drop pretty soon as the OB starts next week. Ewww.

    Well, hearing that, I'll still play it, those cuts might be put back into the game sometime later. At least they talked about it, rather be all sly with ninja nerfs, then again that may change later on.

    Great... OB, they never talk about it until the last moment.

    Well, looking forward towards Aion.

    Oh don't get me wrong, it _is_ a fun game, just limited as far as what you can play. Example, no female characters can be tanks on destruction side, hell, female characters can only be 5 classes total, but over on order, they can be whatever they want. Just annoyed with how mythic is handling the warhammer IP. Still, it's actually pretty balanced overall in pvp and that's saying alot these days.

    Beta's aug 15th, release is sept 18th...just as a side note.

    Well, I should be ready for that war thingy then, just recently got a new comp after my laptop's video card burnt out.

    Can't wait to test out the new stuff on the game, then again not trying to expect too much of WAR, don't want to be shot down early in the long run.
