Fate laughs at me

Posted 07-15-2008 at 03:39 PM by Tareith
I swear, the fates laugh at me. I've been following both Warhammer and Aion for quite some time (each about 2 years). At first, I was really looking foward to Warhammer and Aion was just that Korean MMO that might not suck. Well, over the course of the couple of years, it's quickly changed. Now I find myself really looking forward to Aion and hoping it rocks as hard as it sounds, but Warhammer...well, the recent changes killed off the class I wanted and changed the IP again, drastically. It's not the same game as it was pitched 2+ years ago and for the past couple days I've been working on cancelling my pre-order (I'll never buy anything from the EA Store again, big mistake). So I go to check my email to verify that the pre-order was cancelled and to find out when I should expect the credit back to my card and I laugh when I see that I've gotten a beta invite for Warhammer. Funny how that works sometimes...

Giving your credit details to any seller online is damn difficult to get back.

I had to call Dell about seven times to cancel my order while it was still in billing information verification state -_-.

I wasn't too worried about it, it's not like I couldn't just call my card and claim fraud is needed. Still, first time I've had issues with a manuf site like this.
