Things about things and Aion.....
Taking it in the abyss..The mini guide for 25's

If you are contemplating going to the abyss at 25....DO IT. If you questioned going in to the abyss right away than my guess is your a moderate PVPer that enjoys the challenge but doesn't really care if he make general or not. Your there to be adequately geared and roam around with you guild or even solo some people at the end levels.
If you want to remain competent in regards to PVP I highly recommend you do you do diligence and suffer that little bit of lower level ganking. It makes you better and no opposing player is going to come on the boards and gloat about killing a level 25.
You do however need to learn some things and do a little preparation for the abyss if you want to remain competent:
-Regardless of crafting choice or however good you feel you are get POTs. Specifically LIFE and HEALING pots. If you use mana those too. Life serum potions are reliability cheap and if you an alchemist can be made with some fresh Azpha, (3) bottles of elemental water, and some glass bottles. Each one makes a total of (3) pots. Healing pot remove affect from you such as snares.
-If your a DPS your priory is probably a good weapon. Enchant it, stone it, use it. The goal is to kill them first and a crappy weapon will not even dent a higher level player. Plus you don't have as long of intervals with mobs for the opposition to jump you.
-Tanks need to gear up. If you plan on doing any NTC runs (which can be done from 25-28) you need to gear up for it. I had my first run in with the boss there and didn't realize it would turn into a raid like boss environment. Regardless the instance are not WOW easy mode although fair simple to complete, your heals tand and DPS need to know there roles or you'll be spending money at the soul healer.
-Groups are godsends at the moment and friends are always nice to play with anyways. Soloing is fine but these lower level just don't seem to have the people out to assist in the event of a enemy attack.
-If ganking becomes so bad and your faction is too pussy to go out and fight there always the Training ground located behind the fortress. It a group instance with some quests available for it.
I really just want to seem more people in the abyss. I have no issue with Eylos strutting there stuff against me, but when I go to engage it would be nice to have some asmo out with me, ready to fight than run or die than just sit at the fort curdled in the fetal position.
Enjoy the abyss and remember get you conciliatory noobs deaths early and learn how to kill than show off your competence later.
