Maybe I'm stubborn, maybe I'm idealistic, but I want to share my ideas about some things in the world.

My gaming history

~from then to now~
I started to play games since I was 4 (I'm 17 now). I was lucky that my father ran a business involving computers, since computers were rare in that day, not mentioning people that understood them.
My father had a laptop (yes, they exist) and I used to watch him play Doom II on it, which was a featured game at his work. (they sell computers, not video games)
It probably was the SNES that I played for a darn long time. I was a money eater back then. My parents weren't the rich and I always liked to buy a cartridge now and then.
Few years later, I got my own desktop. Played my first Chinese RPG with it. it was awesome. I really like to tell about that RPG, since it was one of my favorites when I was little. Now I think of it of course, it was nothing impressive. Hell I didn't knew enough Chinese back then to understand it fully, but it was just the awesome (turnbased) gameplay.
Another year and I was about to go to study abroad, in Holland (the Netherlands) that is. I remember that just before I left, my father showed me he had a copy of Red Alert. I just played it for a few minutes, before we both left to the airport. It was AMAZING!
You know, these last years aren't worth mentioning. I think we all know what's happening in the game industry; high quality games are made with each quarter. Maybe it's that I'm too lazy to mention everything in detail, because I remember everything in detail. It would take far too long to describe.
~me about myself~
I've a varied personality. I'm quiet, yet I'm easilty irritated. A nice contradiction. That's how colorful my games of choice are too. You can say I played every single genre except sport ones.
Gamin is a piece of cake for me. I've never been 'the top player' in any game. I still call myself a casual player, despite the huge amount of time I spend on it.
Hmm, what more is there to say.
~my favorite games~
Hard to make a top 10 or something, I'll just list a few of them. Just ignore the numbers, it's only for layout.
1) Phantasy Star Online (Blue Burst)
You can call it my first online experience. Obviously, I was a noob back then when it comes down to knowing the online community. So I probably did a lot of things to make a fool out of myself.
Nonetheless it was an experience to be remembered. I spend so long on this game, made friends and left memories.
2) Tales of Symphonia
I love RPGs. I don't own a copy of ToS, but I borrowed it from a friend. It was a great game, to say the least. Now I think about it, it doesn't seem to be awesome than I thought it was after I finished it, but that's normal.
I love the whole Tales series! What can I say?
3) X-series
Ah yes, a rather unknown series created by Egosoft. The X-series represents a very cool space game. You can build, trade and fight. You can build your own stations, build a fleet and crush other people's fleets, all in high detailed graphics. You should try it
~me and MMORPGs~
My first one (I don't count PSO and Runescape, the latter which I played for 3 hours anyway) was ROSE online. Very enjoyable, till it went P2P anyway, haha.
From then I jumped from one free MMO to another. Actually, I only played free MMO's. Right, so no Lineage 2, World of Warcraft or Guild wars.
Aion will be my first P2P MMO. I can't wait for it. I do hope my exprience and skill is high enough to enjoy it.
I always made a small guild with my friends in every MMO we would play together. Nothing ambitious, just plain fun.
