My Apocalypse

Instead of cluttering up the forums. I figured I'd post a blog about my friends and I musing over the possibility of a very near and very real apocalypse!!! Yes! Some of this could be considered semi-biblical. No! I'm not insane. Or maybe I am going insane waiting for Aion (considering theres nothing else out there worth playing). And please no one post saying I should go out and get saved. I'd like to keep religion out of this one. This one's just for laughs.
Before I start I guess we should go with what type of apocalypse we're talking about. We'll stick to the one most people know about: the fire and brimstone, frogs falling from the sky one.
So here it is, what if I woke up and it was Apocolypse 20XX.

In the event that I woke up one day and found the sky raining cats and dogs and frogs, quite literally. The first thing I would do is curl up under my covers and cry like a little girl!!! This would last for at least a good 5-10 minutes.
After which I would peek out and check under my bed. To make sure there's no monsters under it! And of course in the closet (gotta give the Boogey man his props, he's been scarin' the daylights out of me since I was a kid) ; ; Don't ask me what I'd do if I ever found a monster in those places, cause honestly I think I'd just be lunch. Ok Back to the story.
My house now secure I'd start looking for weapons, you know baseball bats, 2 by 4's the usual. NO! I would not look out the window! Not mentally prepared for that.
Now armed and feeling a little more sure of myself I will look out the window. And upon spotting my first real life monster, demon, or whatever we'll go back to scene one with me below the covers. Ok Ok just kidding! I'd probably consider barricading my doors. But we all know that won't work (RE:Night of the Living Dead or any horror movie, matter of fact). And for that matter of speaking I'd realize my baseball bat won't do either. After all, its not blessed or consecrated or even a +5 Baseball Bat of Homerun Striking!
No, that's when the gears in my head will start to turn.
Logically speaking, if monsters are real, then that means magic is real if magic is real then that means I'm an archmage and archmages beat down monsters and demons and save the world and still make it home in time for dinner!!! Let the fireballs fly and the beat downs begin!

P.S. Yes I'm a little bored.
