For male chanters, the shoulder is a give-away too, might as well compliment it with the hat ^^

I'm pretty sure your spells will be a little more noticeable than a hat.

Love the hat, needs more bling (bells and ribbons) tho. What, like chanters take themselves seriously? Anyone who's seen a FFXI 'battle brd' knows what i'm getting at.

Personally, I also love the Jester Hat. Its just rad. Its a lot better than some cardinal beanie or a bishop hat. Aion forbid I get to end game and have to rock a Pope Hat. Seriously though, part Jester, part Monk, part Priest. Sounds like fun.

Oh I love the hat...Helped me make the decision between Cleric and Chanter heh. Kinda reminds me of my old FOnewearl in PSO.

Aren't hats/helmets currently treated as accessories ingame? Which means any class can wear any helmet... So there's no reason to not go chanter because of the hat, nor is there any reason to go chanter because of the hat - you could have a gladiator wear it if you wished to.

I like the thing, but I don't know if I'll wear it... The character I play as isn't some kind of jester. <_<

I think it's kinda cool that there will be some unique stylized armor in the game, like that nifty chapeau. It goes so well with the kickass staff slamming. Or something. >_>
