I think I've finally decided on a class, and it's going to be Chanter. |D
Buffs can make a world of difference (especially in PvP, which I'd love to take part in a lot) and the fact that they can supposedly act as support healers appeals to me too, not to mention the cool hat and ability to smack stuff with decent melee capabilities. :3 |

I will play chanter because I have not done so in any MMO I've played yet, but i have enjoyed healing which seems to be his cup of tea too and cause I'm tired of dps as a single role
it allso in the descriptions of the classes seems like a verry versitile class with high potential for both solo and group play |

Yeah I see on MMORP now they are saying 1st Qtr too. The good thing about those sites is you usually have a good chance of getting in Open Beta when it comes out.
I am getting bored with Cabal. Last edited by SukahBlaht; 09-23-2008 at 06:42 AM.. |

One word. Versatility. Rarely will you find me playing a one track class, with the exception of maybe a mage because I just love casters. Healing, buffing, and some damage, both melee and spell-wise? Hell yes. Of course I don't expect to be great at all of them, but I love adaptable characters. Oh, and that fighting style they use is just....awesome.

I'll probably play a chanter and a sorcerer, I always usualy make two characters. Sorcerer is highest dps and (in my opinion) chanter is the most useful party class that will be in high demand, and lets face it.. who dosen't like to be needed LOL.! Eventually I will decide which one to make my main character. I like chanter's buffing and mantra abilities but I despise the melle attacking, I've always played a wizard or a long range attacker, never a direct damager.
So I'll just list why I wanna be a Chanter: -Cool looking buffs and Mantra's. -They will be in HIGH demand, low level or higher level. -Can PvP, and they are more durable then cleric and will more likely last a large scale pvp. -They seem to also carry allot of de-buff's and "trick" buffs that trigger if the oponent attacks, making them interesting and almost tricky to take down normally.

I'll be playing a Chanter because I have more fun supporting than I do whacking things over the head with a big stick. I generally play healers though, so I'm looking forward to having a slightly different role and potentially being ever so slightly more aggressive.
And if versatility is a key feature, cool. I'll want to be as good as I can be at everything, so if Chanter is a good place to learn all that, then count me in. And yeah, if this turns out to be the under-represented class, then that's a draw too. Love proving people wrong ![]() |
