I think a lot of disgruntled C-AION Chinese players are going to make the switch too.

I will be making the switch. I'm currently playing on the Chinese servers to get my fix until the US version is released.
I'm having a hard time finding other English speaking players when I'm actually on, maybe it is just me, but I really want to group with some people and not have to guess what we're all saying. >.< |

I will.
I'm making sure i know every single bit of quest/gear choices before September. Next step crafting >.<. Gonna be depressing ! I'll be a bit sad leaving my "average/good" geared Templar but it'll be better on the EU retail servers. Being able to speak/chat/trade in your native language (or english) ... hmm can't wait ! |

Losing a character you been playing for months may be a bit tough especially if ur already pimped out n stuff, Major advantage is you basically start over knowing a lot more of what and what not to do and get back to ur high lvl quick. Hey you paid for it... knowledge is golden

Actually, me and my wife are thinking about staying on a chinese server. We still have one WOW account running and don?t really wanna give that one up. Add to that 2 new Aion accounts and you are close to 40 bucks per month for online games. We don't wanna get too involved in a community because we know, if we do, it will use up most of our free time. So right now, the chinese server for us is pretty relaxing and cheap to play. You always get to know people who speak english. Less... but as I said that's alright for us.
Only one thing is giving me trouble. How will the english patch support later add ons. Will it be enough to just copy the NA enu pack in the chinese folder? We are really torn. |

my husband, myself and our guild is switching. what i personally find even more frustrating than the constant lag and freezes is that even though my chinese literacy is minimal and elementary at best, i could probably translate some of what the chinese players are saying to my guildies, but the text isn't displaying on my laptop, despite my having a chinese language pack for both traditional and simplified characters u.u so all i see are freaking boxes and it drives me mad that i can't even communicate properly with my own country.
and as if to rub it in my face, my husband's computer does display the chinese characters ._. |

I shall be switching. I just bought a new computer in the anticipation of Aion's release. I'll be buying the limited edition so I'll have a better chance of getting the names that I want. Most of my friends will also be playing Aion, I'm really looking forward to the North American release.

This will never in any way, shape, or form be possible. The Chinese government wouldn't allow it ![]() Why/how would they do that? So no. No question is stupid, but that one was. |
