Great vid - seen it and gotta admit that our body is a very lethal weapon.
I loved Martial Arts since i remember myself.
Nowdays i have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.Got it within 1 year,2h per day training.
But stopped training and exercising a long time ago, must have been a year and a half or so.
I always hated how some ppl laugh at others learning a martial art(which turns out to be a whole new way of living, not some fancy kicks and punches).
And the thing about the bones getting thicker and harder is 100% true.I just feel no pain anymore to the parts of my body that got injured over and over again.
My teacher kept pointing out to anyone how talented i was but its a pity i will never participate to any official tournament.
I cannot control my nerves so they wont let me fight.

Interesting, I never saw this one. Looks very similar to the "extreme martial arts" special that was on (i think) discovery a couple years ago.

Too bad anyone with a gun can probably kill all of the guys there.

Wouldn't it be cool if long range weapons were never invented. Rather than fighting with weapons in Irak they'd have to use martial arts!

The hammer punch technique is incredible!

This one always thinks that. It would be soo much better if guns were never invented. The days of the samurai were the greatest. Your survival depended on your power and skill, rather than by luck, praying you aren't sniped, bombed, or bull like that. Fighting today is incredibly cowardly.

Samurai were primarily mounted archers, not swordsmen, and ninjas were the dirtiest fighters ever... they'd actually keep powder in the top of their sheaths so when they drew their sword they could throw the powder in opponents' eyes. There always has been and always will be a way to kill someone without getting right up in their face and fighting in sheer 1 on 1 skill.

Oh, and the samurai in the sense you think of them today weren't around that long before the onset of the gun in Japan. Oda Nobunaga used them extensively in the mid 1500s, while the samurai as a warrior class only really started rising I believe in the 1100s AD.
