However, it seems that this will stop soon as the latest move from Codemasters indicate that it is not only targetting the operators of such websites but its costumers as well.

Didn't know that all these websites were selling pirate costumes too! Where can I get mine?


I had that bootscreen for a while, with just cause, but then I realized I really don't like those kind of pirates.

Oh, and I'd like to see them try. Almost all ISPs use a dynamic pool of IP addresses. Unplug your modem, leave it out for 2 minutes, plug it in, and your most likely going to have a new IP address.

Also, from the sound of the letters, its sounds more like 'Hey, pay us so we don't sue you'. I hope someone countersues for the damages and for harassment (one that actually didn't pirate anything, or maybe doesn't have a computer? That'd be perfect).

That only changes your static IP, your actual IP doesn't change and is easy to locate when you connect to something.
