A 33 yr old Man (Member of a guild called Platinum) was killed by a 22 year old member of Guild "Coo-Clocks Clan" over an in game PK.

I know, what i never understood is why they have these little squabbles, PvP has nothing to do with the age of the user.. If anything the younger the better (faster brain function)

I can't find any info about the clans mentioned, and previously when LII players have died their deaths are discussed in forums by people who knew them (e.g. the DVP incident). Anyone else find this strange?

Well it IS the internet...so it could be rumor or just made up (i never checked the sources from the article) however it could be members of any private server or official ones. Hell it could even be from another game altogether (despite what I titled the thread, the article SPECULATES** that it could be Lineage II meaning they don't know for certain). In any case...you're looking @ the situation from the wrong perspective. This **** DOES happen and it's beyond ****ed up when it does.

I remember when DVP from X allience teon server killed one dude from ImmortalTwilight allience in Lineage 2... some ppl are just too damn retarded, its sad. Those russians need to lay low on the vodka!!

What really frightens me about the article, is that the younger clan members continued to threaten and harass the man's family after his death. That's pretty F'd up....

That is just way too far over the top and it sickens me a little bit.
If it is true then it is evidence that people take this type of game way too seriously it is meant to be fun.
In my opinion the person that killed the older man should be banned not just from the game he was playing but all MMO's
