I think it's really cool lol...I'm sure the bidders are in the same state as he is. It's hard to put yourself in his shoes, but if your life was so miserable because everything reminded you of a failed marriage and your life had nothing new in it anymore, I'd do the same thing, start fresh somewhere else. He's just being creative with it. I think it's sweet

Well he must have been really broken up about it since his friends and work all agreed to go along with it, they must think it's for the best was well. Some times you can't just "fix" your mistakes so this is his way of moving on... i agree with birdbrain... it does take some balls to just leave everything like that.

How do you "mix" up something that it clearly repeats over and over in the article, lol.

It's not really selling his friends, his friends probably asked him if how they could help, so he the "one-time intro" is probably just to get in some extra cash. I find it hard to believe that the one time intro thing wont be completely awkward and end up being the "only-time intro" the buyer and the friends will ever have.

Your lost Dez, the article said he was also selling a one time introduction to his friends and the reason he was selling was because after the divorce from his wife, that he had too many memories of him and her that would hurt.
