my boss its teh uber creator of www.destructoid.com o.@; Im also working on personal projects such as vgnecro.com, adventstudios.net (still under wraps)

and eventually I would like to jump into more visual arts combining 3D/web/compositing projects.

Right now I am in the US Navy as an Operations Specialist (soon to be a Cryptology Technician with emphasis on Networking hopefully if things goes as planned). Don't know if I'll stay in after my 4 years but if not, I'll probably advance my AS degree in Computer Science and get a BA in either Multimedia, Networking, Or Visual Communication...haven't decided yet. Whatever will allow me be to be creative both as visually and as a creative writer.

That sounds like a plan I'd like to follow to (even down to the creative writing), but I'm not sure how my friends and family would handle me shipping out. Then there's always NCsoft Europe...
