Nope.
Very few people can be said to have started a meme... Even if you start using a phrase, and it becomes popular, you probably didn't start the meme. Unless you're on TV, or have an incredibly popular website.

The only meme I can think of that became a meme from one person is the word "fap".

Unless it's your website, I dont see that as likely... But keep in mind that places like /b/ and forums, where many users post, don't count in my opinion.
A place like /b/ starts memes, but it takes /b/ to turn it into a meme. Which is to say that the individual didn't and couldn't turn it into a meme him/herself. For a person to start their own meme, they need to be on a show, or have their own popular website, something viewed by a lot of people so that the idea goes from them to general consciousness.
Forums and other such places however accept ideas from all over, and the good and the bad are churned about for awhile until the forum produces a meme.

Ulquiorra started a mini meme on here for a while, it basically involved us blaming everything on lizardmen.

Current one is only guild-wide due to a late night drunken FT run full of fun.

Someone asked "Where's Rotan?" and my cousin answered "Oh, he got tired of Kromedes bs and rolled out."

During the run we laughed all night and thought about Rotan promo gear. We thought about T-shirts (Rotan - "rollin on nyerkes since 9/09), rings, and then came the bracelet. This evolved somehow into WWRD (what would Rotan do?) and WWRD is now the answer for many questions we have about certain situation in the game.

guildie#1 : "Looks like they are heading for the other fort. what should we do?"
guildie#2 : "it's times like these that I ponder... WWRD?"
*guild laughs
guildie#2 : "<insert some random statement about rolling>"

He's assuming popularity is a prerequisite to a meme, not that the meme brings about popularity.

It's not like people like Boxxy or nyerk gobbler we're well known individuals before their memedom. They were idiots like you Picklemonkey. Whether or not theres a picture to prove the memes heritage is moot, it doesn't negate the fact that it started somewhere.

A person can have absolutely no influence from another individual and come up with the same set of ideas, however the person who thought it up 2nd is the playdurist.

In the end theres a butt load of futility though cause *****s cant prove ****

You're assuming that Boxxy started the Boxxy meme. Which she didn't. /b/ did.

You're also assuming that the girl in the photos is the Boxxy meme, which she isn't.
Remember, when you make assumptions, you make an a** out of U, and....Mption....
I'm not saying people have to like you, or like your meme. I'm saying that as far as I know, one person cannot start a meme without having a significant audience. Who knows, I might be wrong.

Can you name any memes that were started by one person? I can't, unless that person was on tv, wrote a book, drew a webcomic, had a popular website, or unless it went through the churning meme furnace of a place like /b/ or eatpoo back in the day.

One does not simply post a gif about walking into mordor on their livejournal or a knitting forum, and have it become a huge meme overnight. As I said before, if an individual starts a meme it's usually because they have access to a wide audience. Keep in mind though that I'm not counting inside jokes with you and your friends as memes, so if you are, we're just arguing over semantics.

Why does everything have to turn into an argument on the internet... Next you'll be picking apart my grammar
