Cleric User Review and Analysis

I didn't even notice this had been stickied! Don't let the fact I'm a sorcerer now discourage your choice in becoming a Cleric - my interests merely changed and I am definitley keeping a Cleric alt! When I find time I am going to tack some of these posts I'm seeing into my thread in the opinions section. They all provide very useful insight into what other people think about the Cleric!

Just wanted to say thanks for this guide. I had already made my Cleric, but just wasn't sure on a few things. I was hoping to find out we could wear plate, but I'm guessing not :P.

I wanted to thank you for this guide, it really helped me the first days. I'm really enjoying my cleric, I'm level 29 now. One of the nooby mistakes I made at first was stacking MP and HP with cloth gear. When i finally reached the abyss I was more like a china doll, easely getting ganked by enemies, without kiting I even ahd a hard time with mobs. Well I'm slowly replacing everything now though. So nooby tip would be: don't go for cloth.

I tend to solo when I don't have enough time to make a significant group. It's nice to see I am on track with skills and mana usage. I also never ever die. I can't wait to jump into some serious group and PvP action in the late 20's.

I am not going to judge the OP's play-style, but in a MMO, a cleric should never ever think solo first, group second. That goes for other classes as well.

I have to agree. I've played group/dungeon healers in several MMOs, and no one can seem to tell me what manastones are best for healing in this game. I'm usually told HP for PvP, MB for soloing...but what about when I start grouping and my primary role is the healer?

Cleric is the only true healer in this game. I'd like to see more advice on group mechanics.

I think HP is the best atm. Nothing boosts our healing unfortunately
when i hit 50 i'm stacking HP and possibly some MP. atm however i'm all for magic boost.
