Amen. I understand the sentiment that being able to heal yourself should come with a cost (low HP/armor) so that your character isn't essentially immortal, but WoW took it to an extreme! I'm excited for more news on the Cleric class statistics--the Korean in the vids is too hard for me to read, mostly because the quality isn't good enough for me to make out, or else I'd scour the beta videos for any hints about the Cleric stats.

ooooh i know im totaly pumped about being able to wear hevey armor ive been looking at some of the pictures and ive totaly drueled over the armor....i love healing and being able to heal in a sweet tin can is even better!!

Well I doubt that clerics will be anything like wow priests... first off they rely on heavy armor and second... they say that the dmg they do will mostly be melee unlike the priest in wow... so yeah I am waiting too to see what class will this one turn out to be... :P I hope I will get to enter in a CBT for europe

Clerics are mages by basic build and their primary armour is robes, though they also have plate (heavy) armour and leather armour mastery. In terms of attacks, they nuke more than melee, the class with more melee attacks is the Chanter, though the Chanter is a buffer above all else.

ok let's get it straight because it's becoming a bit confusing about heavy armor... so do the priests wear heavy or clerics do? I suspect that the chanters might not be able to wear them only via stigmas and even then only medium armor...gonna try to see what I can find in other posts first .... if any1 has more answers please enlighten me...

Priests: They will get basic armour mastery for robes and leather armour
Clerics: They get advanced armour mastery for robes and intermediate armour mastery for leather and plate (heavy) armour
Chanters: They get advanced armour mastery for plate armour and intermediate armour mastery for robes and leather armour

Hence, both classes are able to wear all 3 types of armour BUT intermediate mastery means that the class does not gain the full benefits of the armour, so if you want advanced mastery for the particular armour type, you will need the specific stigma.

How many stigma's would it take to get from intermediate armor mastery to advanced armor mastery?

I think just one. However, each character has a limited number of stigma slots which may or maybe be changable, so you might want to consider it before you alter it. There might not really be a large difference between intermediate and advanced mastery, so we probably need actual game details before anything else.

I joined too! Yeh WoW took it so bad that a priest would be killed by a rogue in 3 seconds (and while that stunned). But would be nice if we weren't to op too.. Just enough to hold up until someone else come. The cleric is looking mroe like a pala with many armor

Clerics would just be able to survive a lot more due to increased armor, all classes should be able to hold their own in a unique way I hope.
