Since the only semi active thread in our sub forums seems to be wether or not a shield we could get is OP or not. I thought why not change it! So as a cleric what weapon do you plan or think you'll want to use?

I really like the looks of staves, I hope they let us use them! Otherwise I'll go for mace/shield.

IF I was a cleric I would use a two handed hammer just for the coolness effect. XD

Thats probably what im going to use stat depending of course. But also im hoping the clerics in Aion will be able to wear heavy armor. If so hello cleric in templar armor for pvp fun

One handed Mace/Hammer and Shield. I plan on doing a lot of PvP and I'd assume that the Shield/Hammer combo will be the strongest for PvP.

I hope Clerics can hold their own in PvP. We just have a lack of really any good information currently. I can only really speculate at this poin, but I know that I don't want to play a class that gets trashed in PvP. I'm also not saying I want Clerics to WTFPWN anybody, I just want to at least stand a decent chance in a one on one encounter.

I'd like to see a branch in the Cleric skill tree that focuses on PvP and Solo. What I really want to see NCsoft do with Cleric is take some ideas from WoW's Shadow Priest.

I agree but not too many ideas from the Shadow Priest;they bothered me =/

Depending on stats, I'd go for Staff.

But if by using a mace my healing effect would go up, you'd see me with one. ;D

I guess it wasnt the class as much as the ignorant people playing them. Overall the Shadow Priests I encountered thought they could heal and dps at the same time while pulling aggro off of me while I would tank (druid) causing me to shift out lose my rage and have to heal myself.

Depends on the situation. I will most likley be using a 1h mace and shield combo for the defense and general utility. If their is any other item that has strong healing stats I will switch to that in those "OMG" moments.

If the pure mage one, with quicker casting- more m attack is the staff i ll go definetely for it. Depends on the healing effect of mace and the defence provided by shield though.

I think that stats would influence my choice mostly, but if the weapons are the same I wuld go for a staff.
From what I've seen they look pretty cool in fights.
