Now that would be A OK for me Calindor, as a healer I have no intention what so ever of busting out my mace in a party to help with DPS. I'll leave that to the other classes. All I wanna do is stand in back and keep my party alive. I could see Aion doing something along those lines were if you heal somebody engaged in a PVP fight you get credit or something.
Why is it that all girls who play healing classes they all have boyfriends that just happen to be tanks? It was like that in FFXI and WoW for me. I need to find me a girl who loves tanking and I can be her Cleric in shining armour Yeah that would look totally macho ![]()

lol Omega, actually my boyfriend enjoys sorcerer classes as well, but recently hes been more of a melee guru. :P
As for healers getting PvP points, it doesn't matter to me, my enjoyment comes from keeping my master and friends alive, if I have to sacrifice my points or whatever thats fine by me. ^_^ And the clerics ability to defend themselves in PvP I expect to be good, because the game is centered around the epic battle. But if they happen to be somewhat weaker than normal, I would still play one, I trust my skills as a healer to make a undeveloped class a useful member in PvP. ^_^<3 |

It's a cliché that girls only like to play healing classes, I'm currently playing Cabal, where my main is a warrior with a sword that's bigger then herself, and I love bashing in the heads of everything that dares to get to close to me ![]() Actually, I like playing all classes, I usually end up making one of each anyway, but for some reason I enjoy healing the most. One of the things I enjoy doing when I'm bored is to go heal/buff all the newbies in the low lvl area's ^_^ I guess I'm not as good hearted as kitten, so I do want to get some rewards for my work. I hope they implement abyss points for healing, it's not very nice when only DPS classes get to have the rewards. I hate it when people get the idea that healing is just spamming your heal button while you watch TV, like keeping your whole party alive requires no skill at all ![]() |

Hey I've been playing Cabal lately too! I have a wizard, but I'm thinking about making a force blader. ^_^ It also does seem like ourselves, as well as our men have alot in common Millenia.
Its also a big pet peeve of mine for people to act like a monkey(or mod in wow) can do just as good of a job at healing! But then again, it seems everyone who knows me and how well I play, prefers me over anyone or thing else. ^_^<3 |

In my opinion being a Cleric does require skill. Simply because there I can see the difference between a good Cleric and a bad one. Healing isn't the only thing a Cleric can do, I except far more from one than that in a group. That goes for all classes actually :P.
Seriously, a tank that doesn't use his taunt abilities is a real joke. |

Another good thing about playing a healing class is it's hard for the dev's to nerf them. MMO's require a main healer for most parties and if they really nerf a healing class, people will not play it as much. I'm not saying that they will never ever nerf Cleric, but we'll be left alone compaired to how much balanceing they will be doing with class's such as gladiator and assassin, ect.
And I think everybody can agree that getting nerfed is one of the most irritating things that can happen when you are leveling, or PvP'ing with a character daily. |

Healers are great.
I just hate the healers that over estimate there importance in raids and act really snobby just because they rolled a healer. Other than that, GO HEALERS!

I'm going Cleric because I want to play support for groups, that and I'm not much of a melee-type, but that doesn't make me weak, I just like playing defensive types roles.
Another thing in most games, healers never really get thanked after say...a dungeon, instance or raids, not saying that everyone else don't deserve praise for completing, but I guess a lot of people are too focused on doing damage to realize who was actually trying to keep them alive during the whole time. I'm not sure how people think that we're just 1-button pressers, spamming that heal button, when we get aggro, either: a. Run around like a krazed kitten b. Try to remove aggro and let another tank the mobs c. Just die and cause grief for your group. >.> Then again, I play healer classes, because it fun in who keep alive first, makes it pretty exciting when your group is getting hurt (Not that I enjoy it all the time o.O) at the same time and you have to figure how to heal first, keep you on your toes and maybe from getting bored which can happen sometimes when the group rarely needs a heals and you're just standing there, or maybe trying to DPS yourself. Btw, we're human, not robots...though we can be if we want to be too. Not all healers are total asses, just the people behind the that pretty avatar playing and some really good healers deserve some kind of pampering if he/she can keep 10 people alive, but not be overdoing it of course.
