No, push the number on the keyboard that corresponds. Normally it's the same number as the skill that triggered the combo, but in the case of branching combo trees it's not.

Initially, a combo initiator (refer to combo system article for definition) will trigger the combo to start.

From then on, skills will appear on your screen which is the sequential skill in the combo. You can either click them, or hot key them manually. Aion leaves a lot of room for flexibility.

Hmm, the way the start of that page reads makes you think they'd explain more why it's so much of a glass cannon, not just name some skills.

@Mark; how's it work with branching skilltrees then? Let's say I have a skill on 4, which branches into 2 options.
Will 1 of them be "4" and the other ctrl+4 or something? Since ctrl/shift/alt combo's would probably be bound to another skillbar entirely.

You stack the second branch skill on your quick bar (3 skills total, but they only use up 2 quick bar slots) because the first skill in the bar will change to the next skill in the first branch. 2 skills on one key.

Well I think a good example of the "Glass Cannon" type is the Air Shock...chance to pull of massive damage but your stuck and prone to more damaging attacks from melee

So if I understand you correctly, if you have a branching combo, you need 2 quickbar slots for it.

Say A branches to B or C. When you use A and the combo triggers, A turns to B. If you want to use C, you need a separate quickbar slot.

In essence: A and B may be bound to 1 and C will then be bound to 2, saving you 1 slot compared to having everything in it's own place. Is that about right?
