Food is worth it. A stack of food takes up one bag slot... surely you cant be *that* low on bagspace.

Level 30 food and manastones example:

Aion Armory Item = 2 MBoost Manastones and 3 MAcc Manastones

Aion Armory Item = 2 MBoost Manastones and 3 MP Manastones

Aion Armory Item = 3 PhysAtk Manastones and 3 HP Manastones
Hrm guess I should start buying some food. Not yours though, your cooking sucks!

As I finally got past 300 now...noticing folks are becoming more aware and using foods. It is amazing how many people dont realize you can use two food items at once. We all get a drink and food slot.

Not using foods in playing is like leaving two mana stones out of any of your items. DP jelly speaks for itself but there are other highly valuable foods.

So for anyone on the fence...keep at it...it gets better.

Food in FFXI, now we're talking. A real profession on par with the others.
Cooking is completely fixed by the DP Jellies you can make once you master it.

It's hard to sell buffs that you lose when you die when you're getting killed constantly. That and I personally find consumables on the whole obnoxious to have to stock/carry around. And before anyone goes on more about "make food even more awesome and people will want it" making consumables any more useful is going to make them "required" and instead of a potion spamming game you end up with a food spamming game.

1: It's not free. you're paying someone(npc or PC) kinah for it.

2: Please keep using "skill rotations" and other "hardcorez' ********. You're intense predictability makes it easier for me to kill you.

Then you would call it an available buff and not a free buff...

though I often give out stacks of food to guildies. Support a guildie cook and I'm sure you will get free food.

Yea they should be called a server warehouse, or shared warehouse etc... usually words should accurately describe the thing they are describing, that why we use them.

He's right though. In a game like this money is less valuable than the buffs you can get. Useful buffs might nyerk people off who don't like to consumable spam, but for people like me who love playing MMO economies more than the games, it's a huge boon.

I am noticing more and more that people are realising exactly how much of a buff food actually gives.
