Steak and sushi seem to sell okay. As in, I leave my shop open allllll day and I might sell 30-40 of each. It Juice is cheap it also might sell.

Pasta is requested by guildies a lot for pvp. Since they usually send me tons of gatherables I just send them all the pasta I make.

I think sausage might sell... but its lower in the skill up range, and not worth me making any just to see if it sells.

I've sold like two stacks of that lifetime.

Honestly Rae if you do want to make a cooking benefits thread, that would be a great idea. I personally use food when I grind and I notice a pretty big difference in how fast I kill, which is worth a TON when you're spending hours and hours slamming on things either in instances or in the open world.

The DPS numbers are so small in this game that you don't feel a difference. I would NEVER spend Kinah for food. At least not till endgame raids demand it.

Till a certain point you don't have spare cash to burn for food buffs/cheap power shards/pots for grinding etc. But yea they are great.

Food is only worthwhile (buying) for PvP, and even there you already have a huge amount of different consumables you need to get in order to avoid being at a disadvantage. So yeah, at this stage people just don't have extra to shell out on something that doesn't save lives.

I mean you already most likely need most of these:

life/mana/healing/flight pots - speed/shield/crit scrolls

and w/e...

In endgame it's all about maximizing your output. And food might just give the edge over the noob going "I WON'T USE MONEY ON FOOD".

I totally run over people in abyss and I know other people do aswell. Why? >> 4k DP food.
Also foods like 50 crit/acc, 50 mb/ma / 12-18/hp mp regen give a nice boost to grinding aswell as lessening downtime in dungeon.

I know you can pretty much overcome these by constantly spamming potions/scrolls. But even then the overall performance will be better with than without food

Not to mention the benefits of 50 mag acc for casters which is tremendous. When soloing with my cleric, i get resisted like 1% of the time with it, and a lot more without.

Food would be awesome if you could use multiple foods at a time, but you can't. You can only use 1. And most people I know use the one that increases HP (I use one that increases HP by 200 and physical crit on my cleric).

Oh boy....

If you could use multiple foods, you could stack an awful lot of stats, to the point that having food buffs would be more important than anything else. Food buffs are already comparable to multiple mana stones... if you could have three or four, god forbid as many as seven food buffs, food buffs would simply outweight everything.

There is no food buff that buffs HP by 200, and physical crit. There is only one food available that buffs physical crit per side, and that buffs physical crit and accuracy. Even so, buffing physical crit for a cleric? What kind of advantage would that bring you? Surely as a cleric you would either choose to us the HP/MP buff food (Dumplings), or if you were soloing Sushi.

pvp use food, grinding dont use food unless you make it...gets expensive...maybe if you are boss hunting.

Right now, I think most people view food as a luxury. I use the mana regen beverages all the time to avoid downtime, but that's it, and I know most people won't spend cash on food buffs right now. That said, I think when the game population matures some, high end food will be viewed as just as necessary as high end scrolls. If you can afford it, it gives you an edge in both pvp and pve. Once more people are willing to afford it, I predict it will become a more profitable craft.
