Ohh No!!!

So ive maxed out aether gathering skill at i think 43 for the first type, but the second type for next level armor has a minimum difficulty of 50..... anyone know where the other 7 comes from?

maybe im missing something but it seems there is a wall in my way

Fly further up in the sky, the higher the aether, the higher skill required. There is a node for 25 and 50.

not sure if thats what he meant, but I think theres a npc in the crafting district in Sanctom that can level up your aether gathering

This is something that I had issues with a while back, somebody came along and helped me out, so let me return the favor.

In the first fly zone, you will find skill level 1 nodes, higher up you will find skill 25 nodes, and very few skill 50. The second fly zone you will find skill 25-50-75, then at next fly zone, level 20ish, Moherium for Asmo, is where you can find lot of 75-100-125-150

Basically grab some flight pots (or make them) to help you out. I try to find a place to land safely at next to a few nodes up high to help as well. Then I park and build fly time and use pot while gathering so I can grab more.
