Doubt many will want to Master cooking, so that DP food could be a hot commodity on the AH(after keeping your group legion supplied).

If you are willing to level your alt to 30 the answer is yes.
You need at least level 30 to obtain the master quest, but skilling crafting from 1-399 by doing workorders can level you
from 10 to around 20, depending on the workorders you do.
