If she has done that, then I'm not sure. The 1.5 patch DOES allow you to master 2 professions, even NCsoft said so.

I can confirm that if you get to 449 in your First craft, the quest for the second mastery will open up.

Got cooking to 449 then armorsmithing expert quest opened up.

AionFancy, is it workorders that have opened up for you, or the quest after (with the blue arrow above the NPC head). The reason I ask is because someone posted earlier in this thread:

Ultimate Expert crafting quests have been added. You can become an expert of one type of crafting while already being an expert in another. Crafters can be an expert of two types of crafting in total. After becoming a master of one type of crafting, you can acquire the Best Master quest in order to become a master of another craft.

Iscariot raises a good point... I'm curious, when you got to 449 in Cooking, did the blue arrow pop above the NPC's head for Armorcrafting? Also, was it the standard expert quest, or was it a "best expert" labelled quest, or is that completely different? NCSoft's documentation of this is horrible. I've heard that quest called "Top Expert", "Ultimate Expert", and "Best Master" in their own documentation. Quite the consistency!

Yeh I saw a podcast that stated the same thing, it was Liv who made the statement. Looking forward to it because at the moment I'm a little daunted with handicrafting and would like to get alchemy up to!

You get the Top Expert title.

Elyos:
Evasion 6
Resist Magic 6
Physical Defense 10

Asmo:

Basically I got cooking to 449. Went to see if blue arrows showed up for quests after the intial work order. Nada. Logged out and came back in and the arrows showed up.

No, the game just requires that you max out the first craft completely before doing the second.

You should hit 449 in first mastercraft profession in order to get quest for second one.

Yep, you have to finish mastering a craft before you can take a second to expert. Official GM response from GM Azerian:

Since you have acquired your expert alchemy quest, you'll not be able to do your expert cooking quest until you have mastered Alchemy. A brilliant idea set forth by our developers so that players cannot dump all of their kinah into two different professions at the same time. Once you finish the alchemy mastery, you should be able to pick up the cooking one.
