Can you really be expert in 2 crafts on one toon?

My wifes toon is level 29 and has her Weapon crafting at Expert of 449/449. When she completed this she leveled up her armorcrafting to 399/399 but the expert quest for armorsmithing did not open up.

Any ideas? Does she need to be a higher level to have two expert crafts?

She needs to start a quest line: Steps Toward Armorsmithing Expert - - Aion; it's a 399p work order.

If she has done that, then I'm not sure. The 1.5 patch DOES allow you to master 2 professions, even NCsoft said so.

Thanks, she just realized she had to do the same thing for weaponsmithing and was a little emberrassed lol.

I have my cooking up to 400 and my armorsmithing up to 399. I've completed the 399 work order for armorsmithing but a quest did not pop up to continue on. Any ideas? Also, was your wife able to get the shield quests for armorsmithing and continue on to becoming a master?

I *think* you have to do multiple work orders before the expert quest becomes available. Not entirely sure though. If I'm wrong, ignore me.

I'm having the same issue, i'm currently 399 with weaponsmithing also and clearly can see the quest for expert. My tailoring just hit 399 and i've done the work order, but cannot see the quest for the next part.

Need help with this

Have you actually completed the weaponsmithing expert quest and gotten 400?

Same problem, Cooking at 449, Armorsmithing at 399, done the work order for armorsmithing, no quest after that

so where did NCSoft officially come out and say that you could master 2 professions with the 1.5 patch or has anyone successfully reached 400 in two professions yet?

One of the Aion podcasts, I think. It's mentioned that you can master 2.

I havent reached 400 yet on weaponsmithing, which is why i leveled my tailoring to 399 because i have the mats to get to 400 for that. I'm really hoping thats not the reason why i cant get the expert quests for tailoring because i dont think i'll be getting the mats for the weaponsmith one anytime soon....

I've emailed ncsoft about this and they replied saying it's being looked at, hopefully it gets sorted

So what I read from this thread is that there is still this rumor about having 2 jobs at 400+ skill but nobody actually managed to do so? Is there any proof other then someone knowing somebody who have read it on twitter somewhere?
