read some more tutorials on work by them. If you cannot follow the instructions then go back to a start and learn the basics of GIMP or photoshop, whatever you wish to use.

i found a tutorial on the style of it, the render txt and everything was done by myself !

Text is bad.

You lack a bit of imagination, you that feeling in your head, when you know in advance what you want your image to look like.

Also the background is not good. It doesn't go with the render. THe easiest things to go with background are cloudy background and gradient maps, but you always choose the colors for background from your render.

Even though I never worked with GIMP, I still highly recommend Photoshop over it.

I think I'm seeing the outline of your text area. Looks like a dark shadow effect on some of your images. I'm guessing it has to do with GIMP but I could be wrong. Or maybe I'm going crazy. Am a bit sleepy though.

Pixel2life.com and Deviantart.com are two places that you can find tutorials at. Planetrenders.net is a good place for resources and the forums offer a bunch of tutorials as well and animerender.com is a fantastic place to find high quality anime renders, but you need a certain post count to access them or purchase a lifetime membership for five dollars.

If you have trouble with text it's best not to include it until you obtain more general knowledge about signature making and read a couple of tutorials on pentooling and text placing to get a general understanding on how to place it, and what font to use since font does effect the signature as well.

Alright thanks guys! I'll try my best to do as much as i can, and i would use photoshop but i do not have the money to do so, im only 16 and have a part time job ;P i thought starting signatures would be a good entrance into Graphics arts. Idk tho, but anyways thanks for all the info!

also what kind of tutorials should i be doing, basic sig tutorials, or tutorials about everything to learn everything?

Mixture of Novice and general tutorials. General tutorials consist of pentooling, font, smudging techniques, etc. Novice tutorials are just signature tutorials for those of novice level which is just basic signatures.

Once you practice a bit and you get things down and all that move on to intermediate tutorials.

sorry also, i dont think there is a pen tool for gimp. So idk if i can use that
