Hiya! I made some Aion arts today and thought I'd share. They're still in sketch stage, and I'm a bit stuck as to how to proceed, so maybe you guys could contribute ideas. :P

I fangirl over a lot of fandoms... and when I happen to be squeeing about two different things at the same time, well, you can see for yourself.

Vocaloid/Aion crossover for Koi wa Sensou (Love is War). Mostly because I've been listening to Nodoame's cover of it all freakin' day. I felt like I couldn't help myself.

Another Vocaloid/Aion crossover; this one's called Magnet. I happened to stumble across this this Nico singer cover of it. I'm not really into yaoi/BL these days, but that song is just... I can't get over how smooth it is.

The main problem I'm having with these right now is that I love the sketches so much, I'm a bit intimidated to colour them. I feel like my normal cel shading won't do them justice, but I'm terrible at lineless colouring. What to do...

Very nice from what i can see, your linework seems reasonably solid (you know what you want) and you seem (from what i can see) to have a firm grasp of anatomy.

I'd love to see some coloured work

Keep it up.

Very nice I like it a lot, I like the style and similar to Asylumz I'd like to see some colour too and the wings look lovely, would love to see a pic with beautiful big wings! =)

The light background paired with the pale skin makes the shape of the face indistinguishable (sp?), In comparison to your other works the facial anatomy is a little off (brow,nose,lips) seems to be chibi style :P (Nothing wrong with it)

Just not as good as your others!!!!

Sensou picture on the other hand is looking VERY nice, the light gradient is working well and one again your linework is clean and smooth.

@Asylumz - Thanks for the feedback on that. :3 It was a bit of a quickie, and I did intend it to be chibi. ^^

Anyway, here's more sketches.

The very first fanart of Aion I did, sometime last week. My computer crashed halfway while doing this, so I've lost the original resolution and bottom half of this; only managed to salvage this because I took a screenshot earlier. @_@

Random spellcaster.

Before they Ascend, do our characters feel any pain from not remembering who they really are?

I'm not sure, but they might feel pain from changing from human to daeva and having wings rip through the flesh on their backs.

Awesome to see the finished piece! I love the glow on the mouth from the megaphone and the simplicity of the body colour contrasting with the background, striking and edging towards 3-D, v nice! Well done!
