Had a little trouble playing high quality R2 but seems like I've sorted out the desynching..and almost completely reduced the lag.

Awesome ep, can't wait to find out what happens next, <3 Code Geass ^^"

It's not just high quality, it's high definition. I've gotta say, 340 megs for an episode: jeez. Most h264 .MKV files are merely high definition upscales, so it's not surprising that Gundam 00 and Code Geass R2 have been giving people trouble, since Sunrise is on the official HD bandwagon now. Those are at least the only two series' I know of that are confirmed to be in HD, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE it makes. I really need a new desktop, since I'll be stuck using my laptop for these episodes if this keeps up. >_>

It's unique seeing what the various anime bloggers online are grabbing from the first episode of R2. Kurogane seems to have a unique outlook as to what happened between the series', although Dark Mirage is merely accepting the obvious facts.

Anyway, it's awesome so far. Hopefully there will be more graceful evil arm-swinging in episodes to come. >_>

I've seen the first, but I won't be watching the 2nd till it's finished.

Thats why I've not seen Shakugan no Shana II yet, was waiting for finish... It's downloading now... Also I'm not sure what to do about Gundam 00 as it seems to have stopped O.o

It's a multi-seasonal show. The second season is gonna air after R2.

HD Anime is really neat. Still 340Mb isnt that bad. One Piece is about 500Mb per episode. Well worth it I say!

And I'm happy to watch Code Geass again.

Huh. I doubted that so I went and checked; most of them are about 170MB-250MB per episode. Are you talking about the really early episodes, which date back to the times when video was poorly compressed so files were really huge? Or one-hour specials? Or what?

Heck, even the raws are only around 220MB, and they're normally much larger than subtitled files.

Stupid question, but where are ya downloading it from?

I typically use animesuki for all new anime releases, but it seems they aren't carrying it.

You can get almost all new fansubs at Baka-Updates or Tokyo Toshokan, whichever you prefer. I'm sure there's other sites too.

That's because it's licensed. And by FUNimation now, which is why I'm not watching it via subs: they're gonna be releasing 13-episode DVD sets, uncut and redubbed to get rid of One Piece's previous history with the company "4kids" that made it really controversial. >_> The fans are really pleased with the new translation, so I figure I may as well support that.
