Well, the basic info page, found here: Mabinogi - Fantasy Life has a lot of general information, but I have to say one of the coolest mechanics I've found in the game is the fact that there are no true classes (everyone can learn everything if they devote enough time to it), and you can choose what age you start at. Starting at an older age means you're more developed statistically early on, but you have less room to "grow" whereas starting young means you'll have a harder time early on but you're open to a lot more customization potential at higher levels.

Oh and of course, the private dungeon system, part-time jobs, and the ability to compose music and play musical instruments are all pretty cool too for an MMO.

And it's also very unavailable for Europe .It doesn't even state that in the FAQ ( I had to go to forums to find that out ) .

Ew I can't handle cartoony games like Mabinogi...ugh

Your best bets Blitz for a F2P until Aion is Cabal or Rohan. All others will drive you insane, and Rohan's grind might do the same. Cabal has a bit more likability to it

Shaiya is also worth checking out ( as is Rappelz and Perfect world - the latter for PvE extravaganza , I think this is the game WoW took quite some ideas from and it still looks and plays great ) . Shaiya you need to check out because we still don't have the episode 3 update in english client - I even think Korea has episode 4 already running for testing purposes ,not sure . That will definitely change the game a lot - probably in a positive sense .

Never heard of Mabinogi. It's from Nexon and I'm gonna try it out, since I want my list to be complete when I'm condemning Free to Play games.

Lunia was awesome for a while. Reminds me of when I used to go to the arcades to play Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Lunia is pretty much an arcade game with RPG elements.

archlord sucks.. pvp is basically who has the most healing pots wins...

Especially with their stupid auto heal function..
