I enjoyed Lunia a lot until I got through all the stages that were under legendary. I had a wizard that was pretty awesome, but it just got boring after a while griding stages and quests to level up. I do suggest one play through of all the stages for anyone, they're really interesting and has a neat story.

I used to play RF Online 3 years on a private server. It's awesome game. When Codemasters brought the global RF F2P I started to play there but lost interest because of the exp. Too much grinding @ the glob.

I have tried oh so many....and i mean.....many....MMO's. pretty much 90% of the mmo's i have tried are just boring to play alltogether. F2P mmo's tend to feature the most enjoyable parts when players play for a long period of time. The kind of mmo im looking for is the kind that features all the fun parts quickly in the game, where i can immediately start having fun, and not have to worry about grinding and questing for a few weeks before i can enjoy the experience. MMO's that i actually happened to enjoy where the ones where i was able to jump into the "mmo drama" very quikly, or at least got a taste of what is to come throughout the game without having to waste my life in advance.
Sword of the New World - Good: - Players control 3 characters at one time, in which are controlled in the style of an RTS. - P2P quality graphics. ( Truly astonishing. As mentioned in an earlier post, this was originally a P2P game. ) - Neat background and story compared to most other F2P MMO's. Bad: - Damn those botters... - Grindfest...this is a big one... Legend of Ares - Good: - Once you learn the importance of gear, the PVP gets incredibly exciting and simple. - PVP is a huge focus of the game, and i think that skill-less PVP lovers will have a blast playing this. Don't worry you dirty Pk'ers, you'll be able to PK players from the other faction as often as you like .- Drama created in the RvR zones between guilds is very much fun, especially if your part of the bigger groups. - Bosses and their drops definitely add great PVE goals for guilds and groups. Bad: - PvP heavily dependant on gear. For those of you who would rather use clever skill combos and timing and what-not, it wont be enough to go against heavily geared players. - To get your hands on the more high-end gear, you will have to work for it...big time. ( Unless you got connections. )- Grindfest...another big one...but in my opinion, not as big as SotNW. Goonzu Online / Luminary - Good: - I can tell you one thing...there is no game...i repeat...there is no game that is more player-ran than this. The game is 99% run by the players, and that isnt an exaggerated percentage. ( If you have questions on this, PLEASE dont hesitate to ask. ) - You will always have something to do, though most of the time it boils down to killing monsters. * Goals can vary from manufacturing, fishing, mining, boss hunting, marketing, running for town chief, and, hell, even become the "Goonzu" of the server. ( 1% of the games items are created by the server. The rest of the items, 99%, ARE created by the players. That digital beef stew you've been eating to keep your character from getting too hungry didn't cook itself... . And i repeat, I will gladly answer all of your questions... )Bad: - The graphics engine totally gives this game a bad impression on itself, and is definitely a turn-off to detail-lovers and war-lovers. ( This games mood can range from total peace, all out war, and even inflation. Don't let these kiddy graphics fool you... ) - Yet another Grindfest. ( The grinding in this case is nowhere near as bad as the grindfests that most of you have gone through. If you make friends and set some simple goals, the grinding is most definitely a breeze compared to other F2P MMO's. ) - PvP isn't very complex when it comes down to the actual combat. ( But the way you build your character is an extremely important part of it. ) For those of you who were sincere enough to read my mini reviews, I thank you greatly. All i ask of you now is to please comment as much as possible. I would love to hear your greatly appreciated opinions .Last edited by Twinfun2; 05-27-2008 at 08:04 PM.. |

NEEEEEEECROOOOOOOOOO
Been playing DOMO for the last week, dropped some money in the Item Mall to pick up some pets and start leveling them, currently playing a Pet Muse 19 with Doc 16 and Thief 20 subs. (Mang, Sapphire Server) I suggest anyone trying it to at least take it past level 15 and get a couple subjobs, and possibly farm up enough cash to buy a pet from someone ingame if you're not willing to drop the ~$10 to get one from the item mall. __________________

I'm playing Requiem on and off. It was actually less of a letdown then I thought it was going to be. It's not the best game I've played, but it's not too bad either.

Urk. Rohan. OMG. Good times, bad times...I think I spent about 200 bucks on gear in that game, definitely NOT F2P if you wanna be the best. Either you build the popular builds or you spend money to be dominant, VERY not fun, although I met quite a few good friends on there, that I later brought onto Aion betas as well.

There really is no such thing as F2P once you honestly understand it. No compony in the World!, would spend millions designing an MMO nor the man power to maintain it just so "YOU" the random schmuck can have a good time, all on their dime.
Lie to whoever you want to people, but don't lie to yourself. There is no such thing as a free online game, you pay one way or another, with real money. I don't know where people come up with these philanthropistic ideals. __________________ ![]() I got nothing |

Mabinogi was one of those games that i enjoyed playing at the japanese server years ago. When i heard that there would be a english version, i was happy at march 2008 when the open beta started i downloaded and a smile came. Then i started the game and was wtf when i saw the message saying my IP was blocked. I went to the forums and after 2 hours they posted that NA could only play and i was
. I moved on to other games and sometimes i check the forum to see how its going and when i see all the server is down posts and people whining a smile comes upon my face .My friends from the states told me to use the hotfix but i prefer to not cheat my way in to a game. __________________ ![]() For I pray for tempest tossed, lost souls.
