A few cool animes!
Whaddup guys, I two Animes I would like to throw out there for everyone here to take a look at.
Gun Sword FIRST OFF, would be Gun Sword. I haven't gotten to far in to the series yet but from what I have seen its really cool, it seems to be set in to a future like time, while keeping a really nice old west feel to it. The main character "Van" is a cool looking cowboy guy that just seems to be roaming the country side, but there is more to him, might I say?? Mechs??? Maybe, go check it out, its a fun filled action adventure I'm sure a lot of you would enjoy.Desert Punk The next one I'd like to talk to about is Desert Punk, I started watching this one awhile back when it was on Comcasts On Demand. This Anime stars a mysterious little desert mercenary named appropriately "Desert Punk" who has incredible acrobatic and fighting abilities, not to mention he seems to be completely obsessed over certain voluptuous assets. The world takes place in a strange post apocalyptic world that has been reduced to nothing but well..a desert, bound to be filled with all sorts of trouble! Check this one out as well!

Gun X Sword was fairly... good.. I don't think it was mind blowing or anything, but I did enjoy watching it. Can't remember well, but isn't his mecha called Dan? Van and Dan, lol - they had to have done that on purpose
![]() I liked the whole link between Van and Dan though, it's not merely a mecha/pilot relationship - they actually do depend on each other. Not seen Desert Punk myself, seems somewhat familiar to The Third: Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo - so you might want to have a look at that aswel ![]()

Yeah, GUNxSWORD was decent. The plot and acting was all very dry, however.
Not at all. The Third was very poetic and explorative in nature (kinda like Kino no Tabi set on another planet) where-as Desert Punk has some vulgar humor and the plot is very, very thin. |
