Most of the black isle studios games remain the best: Planescape: Torment, Fallout 1/2, Baldur's Gate 1/2
Many of the Squaresoft ones are fantastic too especially Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 7 and 10.

Currently playing Lost Oddessy which was made by the Final Fantasy team and it's excellent.
