A decent free mmo to play?

i got to lv 50 in requiem.......and got bored of the go kill x monsters to lv.....tipical grindfest with bloodz...nty lol

Im in the closed Beta of Atlantica Online and i have to admit, its nice and funny in its own way. You can choose a "characterclass", but its divided in weapons like sword, spear, staff, gun. Even tho each battle is fought in your own little fightscreen and its turnbased, doesnt mean, you can absolutly relax and plan everything. In the beginning of the game your "attack phase" lasts 15 seconds, in this time you can give each of your party members (your main char + mercenaries) the commands to attack, heal or use an item. Everyone who is still reading this and thinks, that doesnt sound too bad, should have a look.

I also tried alot of Free MMO´s like Silkroad, Perfect World, Archlord and alot more, but they couldnt hold me for more than a few weeks.

silkroad online.....though not exactly free. you need to buy atleast 200 silk a month "off the top of my head about $5 or so" to be able to even log in lol. Great game given the chance though, be it a botfest lol!

Perfect world is also a great game, more "f2p" than silkroad :P

Legal it may be (and I know exactly what server he's talking about) it's still a private server. If you want to discuss it, take it to pms if need be. Otherwise keep it out of public threads ya?

It is legal if they do not charge, and all the emulation coding has been created rather than stolen from NCSoft. However, It should be illegal to emulate anyone elses game (even though it isnt). I never went into specifics on the actual server, since its a shady area, but hey we wouldnt be in this predicament at all if NCSoft enforced their own EULA and didnt let over half of L2's population become bots and boxed chars full of ebayed gear.

I find it funny how any unknow and horrid gaming company can buy rights to launch a game in their country, and it suddendly becomes "official" server, even when its horrid and they only care about profit (cash shops), while some private servers may be alot better, but they are illegal!
