I get the feeling MAG is going to work a bit differently. Not only will Huxley probably be instanced for the 360, MAG will be a seamless, insane, 256 person shootout. I don't know the details but it most have something that will make it very special.

I read somewhere the the reason FF VS. 13 remains exclusive is because it uses a different engine then FF13 proper, and that the VS. engine won't be used anymore. I could be totally wrong, though, so don't bash me too hard if that's the case.

As for the fanboy wars, they're obnoxious on every forum, /ignore.

Regarding FFXIII on 360, epic for all 360 owners who want to play FFXIII without shelling out for another console. It doesn't effect anyone else.

Regarding life, fanboys need one. Your console won't tuck you in at night, snuggle you, bear your children, give you head, etc. Get over it and enjoy your games. Having three consoles available rocks because it creates the kind of competition that drives innovation and benefits mankind. Stop being retarded Socialists, please.

i like it when ppl assume just because someones a fanboy about his console that he must have anti-social tendencies and must be completely obsessed with it. Of course there are fanatics about everything from football to cooking, model trains to rafting and none of those thing will do any of the above mentioned things yet ppl still purse them fervently....You have something you like as well maybe a football team or a soccer team whatever and if someone bad mouths them you'd probably defend them. Once the same logic is applied to technology suddenly everyone becomes a cave-dwelling uber dependent nerd. I think you need to rethink your statement cause its filled with hypocrisy and if you don't have anything in this world you care about enough to defend (besides the obvious family, job etc) then you must lead a very boring life.

And btw capitalism isn't driven by ppl who buy everything, its driven by competition like you said, meaning ppl who only buy a certain thing. Competition doesn't come from ppl getting along it comes from ppl saying this is better/cheaper/faster/stronger worth more. So for the benefit of mankind choose a side, say its better, and stick with it, that way whoever you don't choose is forced to either do better or fail, thus continuing the economic circle of life.

"Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIII will still be a PlayStation 3 exclusive in Japan and that it will only be available for the Xbox 360 in English speaking territories." FYI.

By the time FF13 actually comes out over here, most 360 owners who were planning to get a PS3 ANYways would've already brought one. X3

Fanboys are characterized by overzealous, closed-minded love for something. Your whole idea of "stick with it' is the opposite of competition. If everyone just "stuck with it" one might be clearly better but people would still be buying the other product, which given its steady consumer base of those who "chose and stuck with it" would have no need to compete. It could do whatever it wanted for better or worse and wouldn't be subject to any criticism. The idea is that you shouldn't choose a side and stick with it, you should choose, for your particular situation, whichever fulfills your demands the best. If the situation changes (ie, new consoles), you don't go on raving about how great the company was because the last one fit your previous situation, you make a new, informed decision. This will bread competition. You're point is assuming everyone will choose the same way, but that's just not how it would happen.

How could you possibly think that that breeds* competition? What you describe is little more than band-wagoners. Competition is bred* by Brand Loyalty. Similar to Sports teams that have die hard fans regardless of the performance of said teams.

Actually a "band-wagoner" would more accurately describe someone jumping on board because everyone else is doing it, Marchosias was talking about making an informed decision about which console to support based off your own views and opinions. That's what I call intelligent.

When i said stick with it i should've said support it. Yes an informed decision is important but most fanboys of Sony, Nintendo, and MS are also fanboys of games in general. Fanboys couldn't save Dreamcast and ppl got over it, Sega Fanboys had to choose another company to support. Believe that i choose to support MS for a reason not just because i have to much time on my hands. I think they are the better console maker and if eventually i get proven wrong and MS stops making the xbox i'll go buy a PS# or whatever gimmick nintendo has out, but i won't buy both, i have neither the time or the money so i will only choose one, the one i think is better, and Nintendo and Sony will have to try and keep out doing each other to make their console more appealing to ppl like me thus forcing progress in the industry. I Sony and Nintendo knew i was going to buy both systems then they wouldn't be competing with each other meaning they could do whatever they wanted cause they know im just going to buy there system anyway, we'd still be stuck in the 4-bit era with that kind of attitude.
