Street Fighter Fans
I love SF. I never really left it. Even went to Evo this year, one of the biggest fighting game tournaments in the west. Just wanted to share this with you, especially for you Ryu fans who have been rocking the HADOKENS for years now. Whether it was at that old arcade down at the mall that closed down a few years back or at a buddies house on the SNES. This one is for you.
Watch the insane transition from game to game. From SF 1 to SF 4. __________________

I believe fighting games are the most indepth of games and require the most intelligence and skill than any other genre. Except maybe rts, however rts games tend to be decided within the first 5 minutes.
I'm not saying this as in regular people who just play for fun ie casuals but in the competitive scene. |

I still prefer SF2 series to SF4. The HD remix version on the Xbox is actually pretty good.

I really didn't get to play Street fighter III much, but it was far superior to all of them if you ask me. then again, then is coming from a huge Soul calibur/Blazblue fanatic...

Still, as far as Ryu goes, he's an odd little fellow. I mean, appearance wise he's one of the most vanilla characters in fighting games but over time he's managed to become an icon who every gamer has a soft spot for. Like the introduction in the video says, Ryu never stops training and improving himself, which is why he represents persistence and honour unlike any other character in the franchise. __________________ ![]() Sig by HunterX

Me and you both man I played SFIV on release but after awhile I played it less and less, just stupid design choices within the game annoy me and reward overly defensive play while punishing offensive play, even more annoying is how in my local arcade SFIV is almost always being played while Blazblue has so few players but hopefully after the release over here in Europe that will change. Currently I'm playing ST, 3S and Blazblue hoping for things to change in SSFIV but I won't be holding my breath. Also saw that combo video awhile back but it is still shockingly good.
