Dude there is no "which is better" different classes are better for different things. First off, we talking retail or private servers? Secondly if you have access to a BD to either party with, get buffs from an npc, or box one obviously the AW. Really its a more of what you want to do. AW out damages BD by a long shot, but BD gets those lovely dances.

2 totally different classes with different play styles.. can't compare them ... 1 vs 1 though, the abyss walker will rape the BD

How did bladedancers get nerfed?
Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne changes
+1 buff slot for songs/dances/debuffs
The only other change I can think of is poison/bleed (poison deals significantly more damage, bleed has a slow effect added)

These aren't nerfs at all o.o

BD is a heavy armored buffer class and with good equipment can definitely PvP, although not as efficiently as AWs
AW is a light armored dagger class, high dps although to be truly efficient, really good equipment required. Oh, and focus death.

Your choice really. they're two very different classes =p

BD is support, AW is a DD. Lets just say on retail you'll be infinitely times more usefull in raiding, PvE and mass PvP...A BD is needed in every single party...an AW is good for running around by yourself or in a small group ganking ppl.

But I always hated playing buffers, especially bard style. I enjoy healers, but buffers aint my thing.
