One of the most recent WWII rts games and one of the most disappointing. No matter how balanced relic tries to make this game, they keep buffing Allies in some way. Relic seems to have a constant hard on for allies in that game and that sucks.

i played the game coh multy player was good but single player was bad

i dont mind the single player. just drives me nuts that the game always seems more geared towards the allies than axis. makes a german like me very angry sometimes.

I thought this was going to be a thread on how awesome the game is... boo...

I don't play CoH competitively, only on LAN with my roommates, but from my playing experience, being able to buy your units into veterans is very cheap. The buffs Allies get are more than likely to compensate from the gayness of getting your r0 riflemen consistently getting whupped by r3 volks or something and never getting a chance to rank up later on.

Oh and new CoH game coming out ( that's right, game, not expansion, does not require original CoH )! You can play as the British ( very defensive with powerful, mobile artillery that can walk their bombardments, keeping you from retreating your infantry or go into counterbattery mode which makes them very good at sniping enemy artillery ) and late war Nazis.

The brit's kicked *** in WW2. Just the americans get all publicity. To be honest our national flags would have been the Swastika if the germans used the MP44 earlier on.

Still british special forces are damn kick ***.

Never played COH as im not much of an RTS person although i do enjoy SupCom.

But yes they did. Simply because most were slaughtered and a few made it through. They horded their way to victory.

Well hell yes, Britain was an island fortress, and IF the Germans had managed to knock out the RAF, and IF they were able to knock out the navy, they were unlikely to ever make a successful landing without sacrificing an huge number of men. And a landing does not equal an invasion :P

But when it comes to actually bringing Germany down, the Soviets paid the highest price and did most of the work XD
