Its unoriginal because it takes what slasher style horrors did and took it to the next level, it borrows the Hannibal Lector style killer, a intelligent but evil guy who plays with his food and makes up for a lack of story by using lots of gore in the hope that it will distract people.

Its not a Psychological thriller because you know what will happen, you know who the kill is and there are no scary moments that don't involve gore.

I wish they'd stop making these movies because its turning the world into idiots whos idea of a good film involve lots of blood, gore and are thin on plot.

Just like Aion is going to turn us into people who are hacking up cows because people out there buy the leather that you can get off of them for money? A video game will never change who I am, and neither will a movie.

No, the movie isn't doing anything to the population. Don't be one of those 'mommies' that needs to protect the world from violence.

Take the news for example. Remove the bad news and what will you have? Commercials. Don't try to blame the worlds problems on one bloody movie. I am so sick of your kind. Go back to church. I think I'll start supporting abortions now just to nyerk people off like you.

If you had watched the movie, you would realize that the movie was probably 95% plot, and 5% gore.

Was Jack the Ripper brought up on movies and video games? What about Charles Manson? We haven't had any recent serial killers that I can think of. If we had, would we blame the gory movies? Stop looking for sorry pathetic excuses for the violence in this world. Violence is human nature. Movies and Video Games are just a way we recreate that violence without actually hurting anyone.

Psychological thriller to me just seems like another word used to make it seem more interesting than it is.

The concept of the movie Saw is original, yes, there is not another movie like it, and I commend them for thinking it up. However, that's not what I meant, I mean that 6 is not that much different than 1. Different people yes, but, it's just people dying. Maybe it's just not my thing, I tried really hard to get into it because we're obviously going to see about 20 of these things and I just couldn't, didn't entertain me at all. I'm pretty jaded to blood and guts since I've seen someone split in half (vertically) right in front of me when we went to help out with a car wreck on an interstate, but if it's not the gore that draws people I'm not sure what it is.

I hate anime too, so, maybe I'm just a hateful person.
