Saw VI

I watched it last night and I really enjoyed it. Before the movie, I heard people around me going 'Oh this is going to be stupid, they better have new traps. I wanna see hundreds of dead bodies flying everywhere'.

I'm getting sick of people simply wanting gore and death and all that jazz and not caring that there actually was a story to the original Saw movie. Saw VI actually continued the story and from what I hear they were given the go-ahead for a 7th and 8th Saw. I'm looking forward to them as well and I hope I'm not the only one who enjoyed it.

And for you goreheads there was a lot of blood, as expected.

I give it a solid 7/10

I really loathe horror/psycho movies and how people lust for the emotional response their bodies give them upon viewing.

I'm not a fan of gore for gore's sake, though. I don't think excessive blood is good for a person's mental condition and it can desensitise you to violence, as well.

I haven't seen any of the Saw movies but they're making eight of them? Really? EIGHT!? There's no way that isn't about six too many.

I saw the 1st 2 and those were enough. Psychological thrillers with social commentaries are more valuable to me than the run-of-the-mill horror movie (Saw is run-of-the-mill; just look at Freddy and Jason).

lol, saw is NOT run of the mill.

There is a continuing storyline.

Freddy and jason are 100% impossible to have in real life, aside from just being serial killers.

I'm pretty sure jigsaw is a complete posibility.

So, either way, I asked about Saw VI, if you haven't seen it, why bother pretending your better than everyone else out there?

I don't care if you guys 'dont get into the gory stuff' or 'only saw the first 2'. For crying out loud, I asked everyones opinion on the movie IF THE nyerkING SAW IT. Go back to your teletubbies.

I'm curious about Saw VI, but truth be told I only saw 1-3 and yes I know you want people to comment on VI. But I'm somewhat interested, it's just I would have to see the 2 before that to be caught up to speed. I thought the original Saw was a masterpiece in horror. The story was brilliant, and it kept you guessing to the very end.

I have to say Saw II was largely a dissappointment for me. Saw III was much better then II though and it filled in a lot of background story. Are IV and V good in your opinion Scraggles? And which one or ones are your favorite?

I would go see VI in the theatre but I would probably be missing out on some story from the last 2.

I thought the first was the best still, however... all of them are very good when looked at from individual standpoints.

Most people say the same as you tyrant. They see the first, it was amazing, when everyone saw 2, they expected the same, and when it wasn't the best, it was a disappointment. and most people consider 3 to have redeemed the series based on 2. However, if 2 didn't exist, 3 probably would have been a disappointment. The way I see it, all of them were awesome in their own way. I'm shocked that the writers snuck so much **** in that you wouldn't have seen coming.

Saw, isn't that one of those films like hostel?

Where people pretend they are going for the scares and the story but really they are going to watch the violence and degradation of a human being, but are scared to accept that.

Personally i prefer horror that has a little more than blood and a mad man to it.

There are better films for that than the Saw series, Saw is pretty tame in comparison.

I remember i once saw a realyl scary film, it shocked me to the core.

It was about this women who left the kitchen and refused to make sammiches.

Shocked me to my core that one did.

Boring, just like every single one of the rest of them except the first.

I wish they'd just stop making the movies, they're just uncreative and just stupid as hell.

IMO, "Gore" was a genre created because "attempted horror movie that failed so we compensated with lots of blood" is too long.

Saw is not horror. It's a psychological thriller. There are no boogiemen that jump out of the shadows. You know who the killer is the entire time.

They're uncreative? I don't know a single movie like saw. People say they're unoriginal but then with every new movie you hear everyone say 'how the hell are they going to continue the series'. They keep pulling it off too. Friday the 13th was unoriginal

Now, you wish they'd stop making the movies? Why? Is it interfering with your social life? They keep putting out this anime that these ubernerds touch themselves too, but I could care less if they keep making that.
