New Diablo 3 character class revealed

The third class, the Wizard, was unveiled today at Blizzcon.

God, how I hate Blizzard, but how I love Diablo!!!! What a contradiction, huh?

The Wizard class seems like a buffed up Sorceress class though...I love it!!

Diablo and Starcraft lores are the only remaining ones that Blizzard hasn't taken a huge dump on. Let's hope it stays like that.

*sigh* How many sweet memories my old school Diablo and Diablo II bring

Just wait til they tire of Snorecraft and make World of Starcraft! lol I so cannot wait for Diablo 3, that wizard looks like Ive always though the Warcrack mage should be. Asskicking powerful. hehe

I love that scene right after the cinematic part where she throws around explosive magic like confetti. It really reminds me of Irenicus from BG2. :P

Baldur's Gate 2 was one of the greatest games ever... I love that game.

I like how the Wizard in Diablo 3 seems to borrow one or two skills from the Dungeons and Dragons universe. Magic missile etc. It's very nostalgic.

The Slow Time bubble spell that they can cast is really f-ing sweet too.

Wouldnt it be awesome if they updated that game... not just 2, but the series before it? Made it just like it was, but actually made it 3D? Similar to Neverwinter or something... that would be Freekin' Sweet. As Peter Griffin would say.

With its 2 other expansions.... >.< In simple terms... Starcraft II = Terran campaign, Expansion 1 = Zerg, Expansion 2 = Protoss

Squall do you mean Dragon Age: Origin? Its the "spiritual" successor of BG2.

Always disliked hack&slay and especially Diablo (never seen a game that's been cheated as much in), due to the gameplay being dumb. I remember falling asleep several times while playing. Just not my thing to mindlessly run around and spell spam things. Can't wait for Starcraft II though.

Although I found the video rather boring (half of the vid is just a random Wizard walking around, being stalked by zombies), it at least shows that some strategy could be involved (shooting rocks to fall down on the enemies). If more stuff like that is being implemented, I may grant Diablo III a try.
