Not sure all the polite chatter to keep the thread high, and thereby enhancing recruitment, is necessary ( '-') I think most people's first stop would be the sticky thread with the list of legions. And I think to post in the Elysium rectruitment thread you should either:
a) Be in Elysium
b) Thinking of joining Elysium
or
c) Be posting about anything even remotely related to Elysium >.>

My query is about you guys being on the US servers. I'd like to apply to join but I'm in the UK D': Does anyone know if there'll be IP bans on the different versions? Playing on US servers only has minimal lag for me so I'm not worried about that. I just take guild selection very seriously. The guild maketh the game (old Greek saying >.>)

As for worries about time difference, I'm nocturnal : ) I work in a bar in the evening then stay up all night on the computer >.<

they have not said yet, but the latest word is that you will need to buy a NA client to connect to NA servers, and viceversa for EU.

(for a moment I was like,"Wth is a NA client? Is he speaking some extreme geek speak Oo? And how does he know what make of servers the US version will be using? I've never heard of the NA brand before." >.<
I was more wondering if other countries will be banned from using another country's version when they already have their own.

LOL...I could see your confusion to Calindor's response . BTW--Thank you Calindor for answering on behalf of Elysium. That's very gracious of you!!!!

As for the server/banning issue, I haven't read anything about IP bans to other countries, except Korea. I can't say that nothing will be decided upon when it comes to this matter--all I can really say is that I doubt it.

My guess is, if people could find a way around it in L2, people will find a way with Aion. I don't think we have anyone from the UK but we have some EU members.

Well, now we have a member from Scotland (Hi Whifling)...so we have a UK member. We just need a good way to help all of our members from across the sea join in on events, when we have them. We'll find a solution, somehow

I wish they'd just give up and tell us have regions will be restricted, if at all. That way I can know whether to reserve 2 copies of the game (my wife and I) or 20 copies (for all of our members across the puddle).

Is it me or is your roster not updated? Not a flame or anything but I remember when talking to ProphetX he told me he was in divinity (guild we knew from rohan) unless divinity calls itself Elysium here.

lol yeah it's difficult to keep it updated when we have so many applicants. It's also difficult to take people off because most of them don't even bother saying good-bye. I mean, how hard is it to send a quick PM saying, "You suck I'm joining another legion."? I'm really hoping that there will be an easy way to automatically update the roster from the game. In WoW you could use the armory info to do it (although armory was always outdated) or use a plugin that would export your roster in HTML. Maybe I'll assign IntangibleFate as the "Roster *****" and have him keep it updated.
